Ad Code Rules and Conditions

1. Introduction

The Ad Code feature on Geniepot allows brands to boost the engagement of creator-generated content through paid advertising on TikTok and Instagram. Before requesting an Ad Code, brands must accept these rules and conditions.

2. What is an Ad Code?

An Ad Code is a unique authorization code provided by the creator, allowing a brand to promote a specific video as a paid advertisement on TikTok or Instagram.

3. Ad Code Request Process

  • Brand Request:

Brands can request an Ad Code for a specific video after reviewing the content.

The brand must accept the terms and conditions before proceeding.

  • Creator Approval:

The creator has the right to accept or reject the Ad Code request.

If the creator approves, Geniepot facilitates the transaction.

  • Payment:

Brands must pay 700 MAD per Ad Code request.

Payment is processed via Geniepot after receiving the Ad Code.

A portion of the fee is paid to the creator for granting the Ad Code.

  • Code Delivery:

Once the payment is confirmed and the creator approves, Geniepot provides the Ad Code to the brand.

The Ad Code will be valid for 60 days from the date of issuance.

4. Brand Responsibilities

The brand agrees to use the Ad Code solely for paid promotions on TikTok or Instagram. The brand cannot modify or alter the creator’s content in any way and must comply with TikTok and Instagram advertising policies when running ads. Additionally, the brand is responsible for all ad spend beyond the Ad Code purchase. It is also the brand’s responsibility to activate the Ad Code within the 60-day validity period; expired codes will not be reissued or refunded.

5. Creator Rights

Creators have full control over whether they accept or decline an Ad Code request. If they accept, they will receive a payment for granting the Ad Code. However, ownership of the original content remains with the creator—the brand only gains the right to use the video for paid advertising but does not own it. The creator is not responsible for the performance of the ad campaign and retains the right to deny future Ad Code requests from the same brand.

6. Payment & Refund Policy

Payment for an Ad Code is non-refundable once the creator approves the request and the Ad Code is issued. If the creator rejects the request, the payment will be refunded in full to the brand. Geniepot charges a service fee from the Ad Code payment, with the remaining amount going to the creator. Expired Ad Codes are non-refundable and non-renewable, meaning brands must use them within the 60-day period.

7. Updates to Terms

Geniepot reserves the right to update these rules and conditions at any time. Any significant changes will be communicated to brands and creators through the platform. By requesting an Ad Code, the brand agrees to all the above terms and conditions and acknowledges that failure to comply may result in loss of access to Geniepot’s services.
